Interest-Free Repayment Scholarship Scheme

On behalf of the Vidarbha Sahayog Mandal, an interest-free repayment scholarship scheme is being implemented for students who are academically eligible for higher education but whose financial condition is weak or difficult, and whose parents are unable to bear the expenses of higher education. This scheme provides support for such students to pursue their higher studies.

Terms & Conditions

1) The student or the student’s mother or father must be a member of the Mandal.
2) The student must have secured admission to a government college for higher education.
3) The college fee receipt must be on the college’s letterhead with signature and seal, or a printout from the college’s official website.
4) It is mandatory that the student is recommended by a member of the Mandal.
5) Two guarantors who are currently employed must be provided.
6) Two cheques from the student’s bank account and two cheques from the father’s bank account (total four cheques) must be submitted in the name of the Mandal.
7) Submission of educational qualification documents is mandatory.
8) After completing education or after getting a job, the student must repay the scholarship amount within six months.
9) An agreement (on stamp paper) must be submitted.
10) The decision to grant or reject the scholarship will completely rest with the Scholarship Committee.
11) The scholarship will be provided for 3 or 4 years according to the college fee structure.
12) The student must be originally from Vidarbha.
13) Only one student from a family will be eligible for the scholarship.
14) If the scholarship amount is not repaid by the student, it will be recovered from both guarantors.
15) If the student fails to repay the scholarship amount within the stipulated time, legal action will be taken to recover it.
16) The scholarship amount must be deposited into the Mandal’s account.
17) Under no circumstances should the student contact the donor directly.
18) A minimum donation of ₹3,00,000 is required for a scholarship to be named after the donor.
19) Donations below ₹3,00,000 will be deposited into the Mandal’s account and used for future scholarships.
20) The donation amount given for the scholarship will not be returned to the donor.
21) The scholarship amount should not be given directly to students. It must be submitted to the Mandal only.
